Fast and friendly service. The waitress checked with the chef if certain dishes are or can be made vegetarian. I ordered tipsy noodles with fried tofu at a 5 of 5 spice level and thoroughly enjoyed my flavorgul meal. I was very surprised to find only few dining guests since I will surely be back.
Everything about Rice and Spice is amazing. The food is so fresh. Everyone that works there is so kind and welcoming. They remember everyone’s name. I cannot recommend this spot enough!
Amazing, family-run business. Their Tom kai gai is incredible, our 7 year olds love the place - the food, the service, how friendly the whole family is to them - Kyle the server is an amazing, friendly, sexy man - there is nothing not to like about this place. They do a flamed tuna belly nigiri (on rice - I never can remember which is nigiri and which is sashimi) - with chili crunch on top - this is the most unique bite I have had of sushi in 20 years - deeee-lish. Can't recommend this fine establishment enough.
The food is really good. You can have a diversity of flavors in one dish. It's fresh, aromatic, flavorful and delightful. The service was really attentive and leaving space for you to enjoy the evening. Even the person in charge, came to our table and talk with us. I will definitely come again to the little LAOS place! Best Thai I’ve found in Tampa bay! And I’ve been looking. Owners are so kind and welcoming. “Tipsy noodle” aka drunken noodle/pad kee mao is really good. Best I’ve had in TPA Bay. Thick tender steak cuts with wok charred noodles. I’m a true medium spice girl. I want a burn and a little sweat. No pain. Spice 2 isn’t enough 3 is pushing it for me. But I ate almost the entire thing. And after a few minutes my mouth was a comfortable chili numb. I prefer the burn of 3 over 2
My sister and I had dinner here and it was great! The place is nice and holds a welcoming atmosphere. Our server Kyle was very nice and funny! Definitely recommend
I travel throughout the state, and this is a top 3. The Laos ceviche is one of the best dishes I’ve had. Jon and lit are great and super welcoming, just like everyone else.
The salt and pepper tofu appetizer was delicious, the best I’ve ever tasted. Lots of vegetables, delicious spice, and fried tofu with tator tot crisp. We had red and panang curry as our entree. Both were well spiced and delicious. Lots of vegan options. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. The vibe is cozy with pop music, a bar you can eat at, and tvs showing delicious food and ufc which isn’t our vibe.
Hidden gem!!! Son and I out looking for a new sushi spot. Popped in and WOW!! Incredible fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared rolls. Great fusion as well with Laotian, Thai and Chinese options. Wish we could have eaten more but left stuffed and happy. The mango sticky rice for dessert disappeared so fast couldnt get a Pic. Can't wait to go back!!
This is simply a hidden gem in the area. It was our first time here and everything that we ordered was great. The flavors, creations, variety, and customer service was amazing. The owner definitely keeps this establishment under a genuine family friendly atmosphere. We love the fact that Veterans are honored here. Try the Crispy Duck; you won't be disappointed. I totally recommend this restaurant.
